A small, delightful breed to have around. They are a friendly, curious addition to a backyard flock. Roosters are typically gentle with people but are excellent at protecting their hens. They are average layers with approximately 3 to 4 eggs per week.

These birds show well and are a great choice for those in 4H. Our birds do very well at shows. Our birds won best and reserve of breed at the 2024 International Poultry Show in Portage, WI along with winning champion featherleg!
